Atle completes acquisition of shares in HealthInvest Partners
Atle has completed the previously announced acquisition of the fund management company HealthInvest Partners after approval from the Swedish FSA Finansinpektionen. Thus, HealthInvest is now a part of Atle.
In February, Atle Investment Management AB entered into an agreement to acquire 51% of the shares in HealthInvest Partners AB from the current owners.
HealthInvest was founded in 2006 by Anders Hallberg and Carl Bennet as an independent fund management company specializing in the healthcare sector. The company manages HealthInvest Alpha Fund with approximately SEK 1.3 billion in assets under management. The fund is actively managed and invests globally in healthcare companies. The investment strategy is value-based and primarily focused on profit-generating companies where the manager can see a potential for a sharp revaluation.
Atle’s ambition is to, together with existing owners, further develop the company and make HealthInvest’s fund available for more savers.
