Atle recruits Jessica Malmfors and Jeanette Kangur to its fund platform
Atle continues to develop its fund platform, Atle Fund Management, and has appointed Jessica Malmfors as Chair and Jeanette Kangur as CEO. The appointments form part of Atle’s strategy to further develop a scalable and efficient shared platform for its fund operations.
Jessica Malmfors is a leading figure in Nordic asset management and has previously served as CEO of Lannebo Fonder, Nordea Investment Management and Skandia Fonder.
Jeanette Kangur joins from Säkra, where she is Head of Business Transformation, responsible for developing the operating structure. Prior to that, she was COO and Head of IT & Tech at Lannebo, with responsibility for business operations, operational infrastructure and technology.
Jessica and Jeanette bring extensive experience in strategic leadership, business development, operational efficiency and digitalisation within asset management—expertise that will be central to the continued development of Atle Fund Management.
“The Swedish fund market is moving towards fewer, larger players, making scale and shared functions increasingly important. For independent asset managers, a strong platform is essential to preserving the freedom to focus on portfolio management and the investment process. As the business grows, there are significant opportunities to achieve further economies of scale in areas such as fund administration, technology, governance and operational support. Jessica and Jeanette are a dream team to lead this work,” says Gustav Ohlsson, founder and CEO of Atle Investment Management.
Jeanette Kangur will take up her position on 7 October 2026. She succeeds Gunnar Wiljander, the former CEO of Atle Fund Management.
