Alcur in the media: “Alcur Grow has crushed other small-cap funds”

With a return of 34 percent over the past three years, Alcur’s small-cap fund Alcur Grow has outperformed both the index and competitors in a segment where many funds have declined.

“There are always ups and downs in the market, but looking at the whole period, it’s gone pretty well”, says lead manager Mikael Holm Lorsell in an interview with Placera.

The fund is also managed by Johan Klevby, Wilhelm Gruvberg, Oscar Karlsson, and Peter Guve.

The managers’ largest new addition to the fund this year is the pet company Swedencare, specializing in dietary supplements for pets.

They are also buying back the serial acquirer Volati and increasing their stake in the contract manufacturer HANZA Group, which they believe operates in a sector that is often misunderstood by the market.
