Mikael Löfdahl Appointed CEO and Co‑Manager at Humle Fonder
Humle Fonder has strengthened its leadership and analytical capacity with the appointment of Mikael Löfdahl as CEO and co‑portfolio manager alongside Petter Löfqvist.
With more than 25 years of experience in small‑cap analysis and investment, including senior roles at FE Fonder and Carnegie Investment Bank, Löfdahl’s deep stock market knowledge gives Humle an additional edge in its focus on small‑cap companies.
“Mikael is a long‑awaited addition to Humle. He has solid experience from the Swedish and Nordic small‑cap markets, both as an analyst and as a portfolio manager. Together we will continue to build Humle along the path we’ve set – focusing on investing in companies with long‑term potential to deliver earnings growth over time, and thereby returns,” says Petter Löfqvist.
Humle’s focus on small‑cap companies matches Mikael’s long‑standing passion and strategy. He has worked with small‑cap analysis and portfolio management throughout his entire career – most recently managing both a Swedish small‑cap fund and a Nordic hedge fund at FE Fonder.
“Stepping in as Humle’s CEO and co‑manager alongside Petter feels absolutely right. We share the same view on the importance of a structured and analysis‑driven management style and concentrated portfolios, where every company should contribute. There are also clear resources here to step up the sustainability work and create attractive investments going forward. Atle, of which Humle Fonder is a part, feels like a good family to be in – with a clear vision, drive, and the muscle to grow. To be able to contribute to that development and work closely with committed colleagues is a great opportunity,” says Mikael Löfdahl.
