On June 28, Atle Investment Management* acquired 32.5% of Alcur Fonder. The acquisition means that Alcur fonder gets the freedom to focus wholeheartedly on its strategies in an environment where all time is devoted to investments. Atle, for its part, provides common principles around risk management and regulatory compliance.

The fund ALCUR is a special fund that can be described as a long/short absolute return equity fund. The fund's objective is to achieve a good risk-adjusted return under all market conditions. The fund does not compare itself to any index but to the risk-free interest rate.

ALCUR SELECT is a special fund that focuses on investing in shares in small and medium-sized companies in the Nordics, with high potential for a given risk. At least 50% of the fund's assets must be invested in Sweden. Over time, the fund will have positive net exposure to the market. The fund can fail. The fund does not compare itself to any index but to the risk-free interest rate (SSVX90 + 5 percentage points). The fact that the fund is a special fund means that the holdings can be concentrated in fewer than is the case for a normal equity fund. In the fund, the 6 largest positions can make up 60 percent of the fund's value at the time of investment.

*Atle Investment Management, formerly Bure Financial Services is part of Bure which in turn owns 32.5% of Alcur Fonder.
