TIN launches new fund

The new fund TIN Småbolag is an actively managed equity fund investing in Swedish small caps with profitability, drive and strong growth potential.

The strategy rests on a clear set of criteria: companies must demonstrate both growth and profitability, operate in expanding markets and trade at valuations that can be justified by their fundamentals and future prospects.

Newly appointed portfolio manager Henrik Carlman stresses that founder‑led businesses and true company builders with strong visions and room to grow from a smaller base can create attractive long‑term returns.

“I’m looking for the company builders. I spend an enormous amount of time trying to find skilled entrepreneurs who are deeply invested in their own companies. People generate returns – they decide how a company’s limited resources are allocated,” he recently said in an interview with Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.

The launch of the fund marks the starting point for TIN’s ambition to broaden its offering beyond the technology sector.
